So you've loaded up a new mod for Squad onto your server, but you have no idea what the layer list is! For most mods you can find their layer list on the Steam Workshop page, but some (looking at you, Global Escalation), don't list their Layers publicly, and don't tell you when asked - so we have to get creative.

How to...

There are 2 ways of finding the layer list:

  1. After turning on your server with the mod loaded, use the ListLayers command in the ingame commands box (using the ~ key - thats the key next to the number 1 on most keyboards). This should print out the layer list to your console. You can also use Battlemetrics to do this, and it will allow you to copy and paste the output.
  2. When your server loads, it lists all the Levels and Layers that are able to be played, as per the mods loaded. You can check your SquadGame.log when the server starts to see a list there.
