How to hide votes on your Squad Dedicated Server

With Squad v7.2 the ability to vote for the next map was finally introduced. Whilst the map voting is in its early stages of development, there are some interesting tidbits that you can change in order to craft the best possible configuration for your community and players - the ability to show or hide the count of votes for any map being one of them.

Within the SquadGame/ServerConfig/VoteConfig.cfg the following line must be created it if it is not present already:

DisplayVotes=false

With the above present within the VoteConfig.cfg file, the server will not display the votes of each player during the end of the match - thus allowing for a "secret vote". By default, this is set to true, and you can show the votes again by changing this to the below:

DisplayVotes=true

Changes to the VoteConfig.cfg file require a server restart to take effect.
